Welcome to the website of the Neagle Law Firm, PC. This firm's goal is to provide professional, timely, courteous, and high quality legal services at a fair, reasonable and competitive price.

In a real sense, estate planning and estate administration are mirror images, two complementary sides of the laws encompassing the transfer of assets either before or after death.  Generally, estate planning deals with valuing assets and deciding how one's assets should be distributed, while estate administration (sometimes called probate), involves carrying out the decedent's wishes as specified in legal documents (or, the intestate successions laws).  What a person told another person during life usually has very little to do with the actual distribution in the face of joint ownership, will provisions and the intestate succession act.  The key point is that proper estate planning can facilitate an estate administration in that it can assure that a decedent's property ends up with the proper recipients without undue taxation, and as quickly as possible.
